Doors open at 7 and show starts promptly at 7:30.

     WHERE:

     ABOUT THE PLAY:

Dimwitted Poseidon (Quintin St George), the most underappreciated God of Mount Olympus and proprietor of a 2-star hotel at the bottom of the sea, is hoping for respect and redemption by vying to host the first Olympics. Can he, his venomous wife Medusa (Natalie Valencia), and a bumbling staff of sea creatures pass muster, and gain the favor of the all mighty Zeus (Andy Hafer)? Or will the clever goddess Athena (Michele Bechard) outfox the short-fused Poseidon once again? The guest list includes a litany of insatiable gods behaving badly, a mounted singing toy fish, and the optimistic one-hit wonder Bobby McFerrin. It is just another farcical day under the sea at Salty Towers.

Written by Dana C. Constance, and Chico expats Bryce Allemann and Kathy Hicks, of the Thunderbird Theatre Co out of San Francisco, this show is fresh off its successful run at the Exit Theatre in San Francisco.

Directed by Rogue Theatre's Betty Burns and featuring a veritable Who's Who of Chico actors, this fast-paced, high-energy production under the sea is sure to be a crowd pleaser! Recommended for 15 and up, this show does contain adult material, a few naughty bits, and a drunk Snub Nosed Smelt!
